أتمنى على نجم البحر، تروي قصةَ نجمِ البحرِ الصغيرِ ساندي الممتليءِ بالحيويةِ والطاقةِ، والذي يمتلكُ أمنيةً واحدةً خاصةً هيَ الإلتقاءُ بقرينهِ نجمِ السماء.
بمباركةِ جدِّهِ يخوضُ ساندي وصديقَه الدولار الرملي السحري سولي مغامرةً مذهلةً من عالمِ المياهِ إلى عالمِ اليابسة. من انقاذِهِما لفرسِ البحرِ العالقةِ الى تعلُّمِ التجذيفِ والتحليقِ عبرَ الأَمواجِ يصادفُ الصديقانِ أموراً أكثرَ مما كانا يتخيلان في رحلتِهما إلى أعالي البحر. لكنهما ما كانا يعرفان سوى القليلِ عن المفاجآتِ التي يخبئُها لهما الشاطئُ عندما يصلانِ إليه.
